Product Description

Linkr provides platforms to educational communities. Each platform provides a client a suite of teaching and learning features housed within a private, secure and customized community homebase. These features have been designed to meet the particular needs of educational programs engaged in international or experiential learning projects such as virtual exchange and certificate programs which function outside of standard academic calendars. Linkr supplies these customized platforms  to educational institutions, training companies, associations, and organizations to help their communities thrive.

Scope

The scope of this report is limited to the following user scenarios on Linkr:

  • Manage user profiles

  • Create and access classrooms and/or groups 

  • Define or view classroom and/or group settings

  • Invite, approve, or become members in organizations, classes and/or groups

  • Manage or access class materials and group or organization resources

  • Write and reply to messages in conversations

  • Add and edit publications 

  • Comment and reply to comments on publications

  • Manage visibility settings of publications

  • Review profiles of members within an organization, class, or group

  • Navigate between classes, groups, organizations, profiles, publications, etc.

Evaluation Methods Used

Scenarios were tested using:

  • Keyboard-only interactions

  • Colour Contrast Analyzer

  • Google Lighthouse

  • WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools

  • Platform features such as high contrast and zoom

  • NVDA with Google Chrome

Applicable Standards/Guidelines

This report reflects outstanding issues found by an audit based on the level A and AA criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG 2.2 AA).
